About this ebook

Kostya "Mad Dog" Sokolov has earned his reputation as a ruthless enforcer for the Russian mob. Cold, menacing, and driven, he has long ago dismissed any softness that might have been inside of him. And since his father was killed, he wanted only one thing: revenge on the man who did it. The best way for Kostya to flush out his prey-Anatoly Popov-is to follow Popov's daughter, Maya. What Kostya does not count on is getting knocked out and forgetting why he's in London or how he ended up in the flat of a beautiful woman. But once he remembers his mission, he realizes the only thing standing in his way is a pretty girl with a very big heart. A pretty girl who's the daughter of the man he's vowed to kill.

Maya has rejected everything about her father since she was a young bachelor. She's changed her last name to Orlov and set about creating as much distance between her and the Russian mob as she possibly can. When she discovers that the man she's rescued outside her London flat-the man she's falling for-her father's greatest enemy, she's torn. She hates her father, but she hates the violence surrounding her family even more. How can she allow Kostya to carry out his plan? And, at the same time, how can she resist Kostya when her kisses make her weak-kneed and his touch make her want for a life that she can never have?

Anatoly Popov was a cruel and unfeeling man with no scruples - even using his innocent daughter, Maya, to further himself. When he causes major trouble between her and her best friend he really revealed to Maya just what sort of person he was. But now he really has a price on his head for the murder of for Kostya's father - who was also in the Russian mob. When she goes into hiding after discovering her father's true personality she even changes her name and ups and sticks to London. She saves a stranger, a gorgeous handsome hunk called for Kostya and starts falling for him. Little realising that he is her father's greatest enemy and has trailed her with the view of finding and assassinating her father in revenge for his father's death. This is a fascinating story just like the previous book by Leslie North where we met them both. The characters are well developed and multi faceted. They are both passionate and she is one feisty young woman that won't just lie down and be used - hence why she left her father. Will she forgive for Kostya when she discovers who he really is and his intention towards her father? Prepare to expect the unexpected with some wonderful twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat and not wanting to put the book down at all in this third book of The Sokolov Brothers.. Each of the books min this series could be read individually but the reader would not be able to appreciate how clever a writer and the great imagination that Leslie North has to compose such wonderful , complex stories that you will remember. I look forward to her next series!!! I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Koysta thinks revenge is the way to go. I know there have been times in my life that I wanted nothing but to hurt the person who hurt me by getting back at them any way possible. It never turns out the way we think it will. Koysta believes he can get back at the person who killed his father by attacking what he thinks is the person who will hurt his enemy the most, Maya. What he doesn't realize is Maya has done and continues to do everything in her power to separate herself from her father and his organization. Little did she know, her future and past will collide when and how she least expects it.

Saving the Russian Enforcer is the 3rd book in the Sokolov Brothers series and having read the 1st two books, I knew I could count on Leslie North to deliver another fantastic Russian mob romance story. As with the 1st two books, I was hooked from the very beginning. This is an extremely captivating, intriguing and emotional read filled with turmoil, revenge, violence, murder and so much more. I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

About the author

Leslie North is the pen name for a critically acclaimed author of contemporary women's romance and fiction. The anonymity gives her the perfect opportunity to paint her full artistic palette, especially in romance and erotic fantasy genres.

The truth of the matter is she loves her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her normal, day-to-day persona! Her bestselling books focus on strong characters and especially women who are not afraid to challenge an alpha male. Inspired after years of travel, her stories are set all over the world, from the tough streets of Russia to the beautiful beaches of the Middle East.

Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She started writing soon after, and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.
