About the author

Charles Lutwidge Dogson, besser bekannt unter seinem Pseudonym Lewis Carroll, wurde am 27. Januar 1832 in Daresbury, Cheshire, England, geboren. Er ist der Autor der Klassiker "Alice ́s Abenteuer im Wunderland"(engl. Original 1865) und "Alice hinter den Spiegeln" (engl. Original 1872). Seine Werke sind geprägt durch seine außergewöhnliche Begabung zur literarischen Absurdität. Lewis Carroll starb 1898.
