SIREN IN BLOOM is the sixth instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is brothers/Doms/former Navy SEALs Wolf Meyer, psychologist Leo Meyer, and interior decorator Shelley McNamara’s story line. SIREN IN BLOOM can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series. NOTE: SIREN IN BLOOM re-release of the 2012 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries, and Nights in Bliss, Colorado series. WARNING: SIREN IN BLOOM contains scenes of M/F/M ménage, and BDSM sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers. Told from several third person perspectives including Wolf, Leo and Shelley SIREN IN BLOOM follows the building Dom/sub relationship between Wolf Meyer, and Shelley McNamara, and the love/hate relationship between Wolf, Leo and the woman they love. Fifteen months earlier Shelley McNamara Hughes pushed away the man that she loved in order to protect him from the man that she married. Fast forward to present day wherein Shelley, newly widowed and on her own, is hoping to test her submissive side by joining the members at the Dallas based BDSM joint-The Club. But Shelley struggles with the identity of the man originally scheduled to train her, the man she never stopped loving. Having been assigned a new Dom at The Club, Shelley will come face to face with Leo’s brother Wolf, the other man with whom she would fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Wolf, Shelley and Leo, and the potential fall-out as both Shelley and Leo’s pasts come seeking revenge targeting our couple in the process. Shelley McNamara knows the pain of losing someone you love but protecting Leo Meyer was her only priority when months earlier she pushed him out of her life. Meeting his brother Wolf meant a possible second chance at love but a chance that may push Leo further away. Wolf Meyer knows Leo has never stopped loving the woman with whom he, himself, has fallen in love but to protect everyone’s heart, Wolf is willing to step aside to clear the path to his brother’s own happily ever after. What no one expected was for Shelley’s past to cross over with Leo’s army life, a past that was about to demand pay back and vengeance. The fractured relationship between Leo and Wolf comes to a head when they soon realize that they are both in love with the same woman. Thinking only of his brother’s happiness, Wolf is willing to walk away, in order for his brother to live with the woman he has always loved. Shelley is determined to love both men equally but convincing the stubborn brothers takes an act of disobedience, and a near-death occurrence to pull Leo and Wolf back into her orbit. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate, erotic and intense. There are some scenes of bondage, spanking and discipline. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Julian Lodge, attorney Finn Taylor, and their wife Dani; Jack Barnes, Sam and Abigail; tortured sub Kitten; former Bliss, Colorado sheriff’s deputy, embattled Logan Green; mercenary for hire Steve Holder. The requisite evil has many faces. SIREN IN BLOOM is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance, and love. The premise is animated and energetic; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are colorful, dynamic and struggling. SIREN IN BLOOM is a story of ménage love, BDMS relationships, healing and letting go.

5 Star Review Siren In Bloom (Texas Sirens #6) by Sophie Oak I have been waiting for this book since Leo Meyer, the Dom in residence at The Club was first introduced in the series. There is something about him that truly fascinated me. When I learnt that his book would also be about Shelley McNamara and his brother Wolf I was so excited (I am equally enthralled by Wolf as I am Leo). I imagined that these two brothers when they could agree on something or someone, would be a powerful combination and one that would be hard to ignore. Leo has the perfect well ordered life, without emotional attachments to the submissive's he trains, little does he know that his life is about to explode. Escaping a bitter past, Shelly comes to the club to heal and hopefully find what is missing in her life. She had blossoming feelings for Leo and would love to exploration the potential but is too shy. When Wolf decides to try and reconnect with his brother Leo, he accepts a job at The Club; his first assignment is to train Shelley McNamara. Shelley develops feelings for Wolf as well and finds herself torn between the two brothers, however when danger rears it’s head Leo and Wolf must put aside their feelings to protect Shelley. Can Leo and Wolf work together to save Shelley or will their past relationship get in the way? There were times when I laughed, I cried and I worried that Leo, Wolf and Shelley would not be able to get the happily ever after that they all so richly deserved. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren In Bloom was one of those reads I could not put down. Although Siren In Bloom is not a long read, I found myself reading well into the night. There was romance, danger and suspense woven into the story and the scenes were smoking hot.
