About this ebook

His shirts were always pressed, his glasses always crooked, but there was nothing familiar about the way he suddenly started looking at me. He caused my distraction and made me burn. What I couldn’t understand was why now? He’d had his chance years ago, but instead, he’d left me with a broken heart.

Unbeknown to me, he thought by walking away that he was doing the right thing for me. I didn’t get a choice. He made it and messed up his own life in the aftermath.

Six years later, he’s coming to the end of the mess and with a little push from me, takes what he’s always wanted—me.

The Kincaid Sisters is a Bad Boy Rocker spinoff series about Reece Kincaid’s (Past Sins: Spicy) sisters.

3.75⭐ You Were Always Mine is the second Kincaid Sisters story. But it can easily be read as a stand-alone even though it does feature strongly characters from Ms Buchanan's Bad Boy Rockers series. But honestly, you don't need to have read them to get this story. As it's pretty much a story about two people who have been in love with each other for six years, but have never acted on that feeling for various reasons, including an eight-year age gap, an interfering brother, and the fact one of them is secretly married. Yet, the story was engaging and fast-paced, and for the most part enjoyable to read. The only thing really for me, was all the dubious circumstances that kept them apart, and my feelings for the ex who, although, comes across as a horrid person, I couldn't help in some ways feel sorry for. Yet, saying all this I do like these characters and I always enjoy reading about them. But I do wish as far as these later stories go, there was a bit more substance to them. Still, it was a satisfying story overall.
