_______________________________________

I'd do anything for my friends - even murder...

Georgie, Lissa and Bronwyn have been best friends since they met on their college swimming team. Now Lissa is dead - drowned off the coast of the remote island where her second husband owns a luxury resort. But could a star open-water swimmer really have drowned? Or is something more sinister going on?
Brought together for Lissa's memorial, Georgie, Bron, Lissa's grieving husband and their friends find themselves questioning the circumstances around Lissa's death - and each other. As the weather turns ominous, trapping the guests on the island, it slowly dawns on them that Lissa's death was only the beginning. Nobody knows who they can trust. Or if they'll make it off the island alive...

I really enjoyed this book. The cover is excellent, it immediately drew me to it. A group of friends meet up for the memorial of their friend Lissa who disappeared mysteriously while swimming. Georgie was closest to Lissa and knew she wouldn’t have swum at night, this raises her suspicions leading her to believe that Lissa’s death was not accidental. The book is told from the viewpoint of Georgie and Bron, this gives glimpses of both characters and their reaction to Lissa and her death. The book was hard to put down, filled with suspense and mystery. As the story unfolds it seems that the friends have secrets from each other which builds the tension. To addd intrigue Lissa’s first husband’s story is glimpsed and Georgie becomes suspicious about his death. This is a well paced thriller, I thoroughly enjoyed it. With the various twists and turns I was second guessing I got to the end.

I really enjoyed this book and couldn't wait to find out how it developed. Georgie, Bron, Adam and Duncan are a group of friends who regularly swim together and head off on exotic swimming holidays. Unfortunately their current getaway is not under the best circumstances - they're on a remote island to attend the memorial of their other friend, Lissa, who went missing when swimming. However, Georgie suspects that her disappearance is not as accidental as it seems. This book tells the story from the viewpoints of both Georgie and Bron and I found this to be a useful tool for allowing the story to develop when each character knows different things. The book was full of lots of twists and turns and I never guessed what was coming next. The writing was really good for keeping the reader on their toes and I could really feel my heart racing in parts. Overall this book was a really good, well paced thriller that was full of suspense.
