Miranda investigates a disaster on an aircraft carrier, while Jeremy has to contend with an airforce fighter jet crashing into a hotel. What I love most about these books are 1) the interactions/relationships between the team members - this book highlights the immediate impact of the personnel changes; 2) the highly detailed technical background presented by the author in a way that never gets boring. *I received a free copy of this title from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Lightening. This is a Sensational story full of suspense and intrigue . The story kept me on the edge of my seat . Miranda Chase and her team are challenged with solving two crashes . There's so much going on in this book . So well written. The characters are unique and interesting. I highly recommend taking the time to read . Looking forward to the next in this outstanding series .

Best statement in this book, "It's best not to mess with Miranda." Really her whole team including Jeremy and Taz, are pretty awesome people who you don't want to mess with. I had to lock myself in my room for a few hours when it got really good and any distraction was hard to keep my place. Lightning, is an awesome addition to the Miranda Chase, series. I'm glad to know that this series isn't finished yet.
