I hate Paris should be the title of this book. Solomon tells everyone who will listen that he hates Paris, but does he really. He fell in love in Paris and had his heart broken in Paris. Now a surprise meeting at an Orchid Club event gives him a second chance with Vivienne or does it. This story has three parts so we get to meet the characters and get a taste, just enough to "need" the rest of the rest. There are strong feelings with these characters and lots of hot steamy BDSM scenes. This installment leaves the reader wanting more but in a good way.

I love Lila Dubois' Checklist and Undone books and I own the previous Orchid Club books but haven't read them, yet. Most of her other books are series with re-occurring characters and not serials, such as this book (I really, really, dislike, i.e. hate serials). Loved the story and the chemistry between Vivienne and Solomon is off the charts. I author's descriptions of the characters attire and their scenes, makes the whole story come to life. Vivienne's family should be shot and Vivienne should spend more time on what she needs and not what her family needs. At first, I want to hate Solomon, but that man needs to come first and have someone care for him. The cliffhanger almost broke my heart and I really cannot wait until Paris Punishment comes out in August. This is definitely an author that I recommend.

Oh wow. Just....wow! I thought I knew what to expect with this book. I knew there was going to be some drama, a fair bit of BDSM, and a cliff hanger (I mean really, it's a trilogy!) But I didn't expect this!!! This book had me hooked from the beginning, and now I just can't wait until the next part hits my Kindle! Solomon and Vivienne have some heavy baggage. They were together, then something bad happened, and they weren't together. (There are secrets that aren't revealed yet, but bits and pieces are dropped) There is a lot of hurt, and anger, between them, but there is also a connection that is undeniable. I'm not the biggest fan of cliff hangers, but when this author does them, she does them right. Each part of the story, while leading to the next part, still feels like it's complete, even if the story isn't over, and they haven't gotten their HEA yet (I really hope that makes sense! LOL) So far, their story has been full of emotions, some that I'm not sure they even understand yet, and underlying hurt and confusion that promises to explode during the next two books. I am looking forward to the fireworks!
