The flexibility and versatility of the English language have helped make it nearly a universal language. But there's another aspect to English's popularity: the way it can make life more fun. For centuries, people have used the language to entertain themselves and others through amusing and often naughty verses known as limericks. The best examples can be thought of as whimsical, micro-short stories expressing experiences to which nearly anyone can relate. "Limericks and other earthy verses" is a collection of limericks and other humorous verses I have written over the years. I invite you to read them, repeat them and have a rollicking good time!
