Josie Quinn is investigating a case that is close to her heart. Her boyfriend's mother is found face down in the garden... her mouth clogged dirt. There are rosary beads half buried next to her. Her house has evidently been searched ... what were they looking for? As Josie and her team searches the house, they find a hidden cache with items belonging to three different men .. 2 have been missing for years, another man found dead, also years ago. Was Noah's mother a part of these cases? What did she know about the missing men? Josie has her hands full .... trying to find a killer, Noah is completely devastated about his mother's death and Noah's sister trying to come between them ... and succeeding. As someone tries to burn down Noah's house .. with him and Josie in it ... and relatives and friends of the missing men dying sometimes moments before Josie can question them, Josie realizes the killer is one step ahead. Just how deep is Josie prepared to dig for the truth? This is an extremely well crime fiction. This is an excellent addition to the existing series. Although 5th in the series, it is easily read as a stand alone, but as usual I highly recommend starting at the very beginning. I have found this author's writing to be sharp and precise with memorable characters. It's an action-packed page turner from start to surprising ending. This was my first read of the whole series. i am so hooked that I'm reading them all but in reverse order lol Lisa Regan knows how to spin a tale! the plot, twists and the climax definitely blew me away. i can guarantee no one reading these series will ever figure out the endings! Totally loved and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Josie Quinn is awesome and totally messed up at the same time! Hope she continues her Legacy.

This might be my favorite book in the Josie Quinn series! I plowed through it in a few hours, could NOT wait to find out who wa s behind it all! Can't wait to read the next!
