The author being a Communication and Public Relations expert, her book is a compilation of articles - which she has written over a period of time - pertaining to this extremely vital component for every corporate house and every brand. These articles have been written based on her own knowledge and learnings as a corporate leader. The book talks about the traditional PR and communication practices that existed when the author started her career (which spans over almost 2 decades) and how the practices transformed and evolved over a period of time and why it is essential to implement a mix of both. Ritu is a veteran communicator having spearheaded Communications, Public Relations and Corporate Affairs portfolios with corporate brands like Kingfisher Airlines, The Park Hotels and The Bird Group/Amadeus India. She has been a History scholar in her educational journey. However, when it came to pursuing a career, Ritu found her calling in Communications and Public Relations and calls herself fortunate to have found the right footing and then there has been no looking back. Ritu sits on the prestigious Indian Women Network (IWN) forum of CII. The author calls herself a constant learner who maintains that every experience throughout her progressive and joyful career has taught her a lesson and she has had a lot of teachings throughout her journey, be it in terms of gurus or incidents. She likes to be known as a writer, reader, communicator, publicist, spiritual seeker, and a joyful soul. Ritu lives in Delhi and can be reached at [email protected]
