About this ebook

A hurricane may have destroyed her livelihood on Prince Edward Island, but she's determined to save her community

Kelsey Ahern has performed at the Victoria Playhouse on Prince Edward Island every summer since she was seven. But when a hurricane destroys the building, it's not just her memories that are in jeopardy. Her future as a teacher and drama coach are too. She teams up with Levi Ross, the facilities director at the high school, to produce a benefit show to raise money to rebuild the theater. He has a reputation for being able to fix anything, and Kelsey is sure there's more to the quiet man than meets the eye.

For his part, Levi has admired Kelsey for years, but he can't seem to find the words to tell her. When a popular weatherman arrives in town to cover the aftermath of the hurricane and takes an interest in Kelsey and her show, Levi realizes that the time has come to speak up--or lose the heart of the woman he longs for.

Join New York Times bestselling author Liz Johnson for a season of rebuilding, restoration, and romance with this final book in the Prince Edward Island Shores series.

When a hurricane destroys the Victoria Playhouse, Kelsey finds herself without her theater and her high school drama teaching job as well. The start of the book grabbed my attention right away especially, having been a drama person since high school days. I loved how they worked together to build a theater continue Kelsey's goals. It wasn't quite as attention keeping as the beginning of the book, but was still a sweet and clean romance. I received an ARC. All thoughts are my own.

This is a delightful and heartwarming romance set in the idyllic place of Prince Edward Island. It can definitely be read as a standalone although this is the final and third book in the series. The story is about Kelsey and her determination to rebuild the playhouse that was destroyed by a hurricane. Her helper is Levi, a wise man with few words and a lot of wisdom. The story sparkles with romance and moves at a good pace with lovable characters. All opinions expressed are my own.

I adored this book! It’s the first novel I’ve read by Liz Johnson & won’t be my last. I didn’t realize it was the 3rd book in the series, but that didn’t stop me from thoroughly enjoying it. I easily dove right in & loved every minute. It’s a slow burn, 2nd chance, gentle romance with endearing characters & a touch of faith that tugged on my heartstrings.
