A young woman, Ashley, has been mute as long as she can remember, after a dog attack when she was little, had horribly scarred her throat and damaged her vocal cords. Her girlfriend, Leigh, who has an affliction of her own, completes her in a way nobody else ever has.
When the couple crosses paths with June by pure happenstance, amazing things begin to unfold.
