Slices of life from a long haul trucker, this book is entertaining and heart-warming, whilst giving insights into the life of a trucker. So much of what was written by Long-Haul Larry had echoes of my own son who kept me on my toes. I certainly had sympathy for Larry's parents. At the author's mention of his wife at the time, one can only assume that being a long haul driver puts a lot of strain on a marriage. Nevertheless, it would seem that Larry had a special camaraderie with other long haul drivers and the people he worked for, making them a family. Certainly, the hours worked would play havoc with what most people consider normal. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, having laughed and cried my way through. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
