Just what I Needed, the second book in the Need You Series is fantastic! Lorelei James is a master at creating spunky spicy heroines that are unlike any others. Trinity makes my top 10 favorites for sure. I love how real and flawed she is with out being over the top. You just never knew what was going to come out of her mouth and it was hilarious. Then there is the scruffy, long haired, bearded Walker Lund. Not my normal book crush but this man made me change my mind about only wanting a clean cut guy. And, his family is wonderful as well. The more I find about the Lund's the more I want to know them. The family ties and bonds that are present in this book really help build the world while your reading and make me so excited about visiting again and again. After reading this book I can't wait for the next one. I can't get enough of the Lund family!!

This review was written by Marie for a guest review post on Ever After Book Reviews blog: 5 Stars I LOVE. LORELEI. JAMES. No, seriously. I REALLY do. I have read ALL of her books and could not wait for this one! So when I got it, naturally, I spent an entire afternoon consuming it. And I am SO happy that I did. From the get-go, I knew that I would love Trinity. She is a fuller figured, spunky and cute girl who goes out and plants one on a guy in a bar. I mean, who doesn’t wish they had the self-confidence to do that?! But instead of giving the guy even the slightest of a chance, she gives him a fake name and non-working phone number. Fast-forward a little bit, and she finds herself back in his path…and eventually with his heart. Walker and Trinity are ADORABLE. Walker is a down to earth, family man who clearly loves a woman for who she is, not for what he hopes he can make her become. From the moment these two met, their chemistry built and built until it absolutely exploded. The journey to their happily ever after was a perfectly paced ride, building and building with every single encounter. Of course, Lorelei James has the ability to write some seriously steamy and sexy scenes, and she does not disappoint! It’s an incredibly sweet, believable romance that transpires just as it should, and left me begging for more from this extremely talented author. ***I read and reviewed a paperback copy of the book gifted to the blog, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***

I don't know how to write this review without sounding like a total fan girl or a crazy person, so I'm not going to bother trying. I LOVED Just What I Needed so, so very much! I can't even find the words. I'm a Lorelei James fan--I know when I pick up one of her books I'm going to to get a book of the highest quality. Characters, plot, style, story, romance that is so far above most of what is out there. She sets the bar high, IMO. I've genuinely enjoyed every one of her books, but, as with any favorite author, there are going to be those few books that just resonate; that you love just a little more than the rest. When it all just comes together so perfectly and completely blows you away. For me, Just What I Needed is one of those books. I loved both Trinity and Walker-the stops and starts, their self-awareness, their devotion to their respective careers, Trinity's neuroses and Walker's general swoonworthiness-is that even a word? These two are quirky, funny, fun, sweet, sexy, with the perfect amount of crazy thrown in. I will be re-reading this one over and over!
