The Shatterproof Heart

This starts off right where the last book left off... so if you haven't read the series, I'd suggest going back and reading it from the beginning. It's amazing! That being said... Poor Sophie has been kidnapped by the man who abused her repeatedly as a child. A lot of what she went through (while people that loved her searched diligently) was hard to read. It was real and graphic... but at the same time I couldn't stop reading . It was a page turner. I literally read this whole book in about six hours almost non stop. I was on the edge of my seat. The twists and turns is one of the things I love about Loretta Lost's writing. I never see it coming and I am left with my jaw hanging... reading as fast as I can to get more. Hearing her start to integrate with herself was awesome... the conversations between her alts were some of my favorite parts. This book made me laugh, made me cringe a lot, and made me cry. If she decides to write more of Sophie's story I would read it in a heartbeat, but I was left with a completed feeling. I hesitate to say more... no spoilers here lol . So now I anxiously await her next series :) She just gets better and better with every book :)

Thrilling finish to a series full of unexpected turns and emotional roller coasters. Hoping to see these characters come to life again in future.
