A great addition to the series. Miles and Maxi are perfect together. Maxi disappeared on Miles previously, but he felt there was something between them and is more than willing to help protect her now. But it is going to be on his terms this time. The chemistry between them jumps off the pages. The mystery kept me guessing as to who it was until the end. I also loved having all the gang make an appearance in the book. It's great to catch up with them and see how they are always there for one another. Romance, suspense, humor and mystery all rolled into one. Read it now! Another very good read from Lori Foster. Miles & Maxi get together again due to his new job @ Body Armor & her increasingly terrifying events happening @ her inherited farm. Good plot, great story flow, & of course, appearances by the rest of the gang. My only drawback was that I was able to pick the culprit out at his first appearance, but the storyline was excellent. Poor Fletcher had to acknowledge that his beloved grandfather had really gone around the bend & committed numerous murders & was about to kill 2 more people.

I loved this one. I gobbled it right up which resulted in a book hangover. It was so hard to put this one down. I loved Miles and Maxi. They both get a second chance. One of my favorite parts was the cats and how swoon worthy Miles was with them. The Body Armor gang make cameos. That was another of my favorite parts. The suspense element kept me on the edge of my seat and eagerly turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. This was a well rounded book in my opinion. It had a heart, heat, and story. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
