3.5* The romance between Diah and Memphis was sweet, if not the typical instalove I've come to expect from Ms. Foster. There was some back and forth as these two tried to learn to trust each other, but thankfully no real drama or angst. I liked how Memphis gave Diah space- he could tell she didn't trust easily and I appreciated how he handled things with her. Diah didn't have a lot of good men in her life so it took her a bit to warm up to Memphis, but once she did, she was all in.

I adore these Osborn brothers, all alpha mixed with bear, teddy bear, to those they care about and love. Each journey is a stand alone, but, they are brothers, now neighbors, so ... is much more goodness reading both stories. Also, with this being a spin-off from "The McKenzies of Ridge Trail", there are appearances by those amazing and strong characters as they provide back-up whether it's wanted or not LoL. Excellent drama with action, of course the heat, and all the feels, I couldn't put it down. Memphis is managing a campground and Jedidiah comes to work for him. Sounds simple, right? Nope, both are hiding some pretty important information which just makes for some really gnarly reading here!! Realistic situational occurrences had me holding my breath often, and letting it back out again, often. Until I reached the much awaited happy sigh, happy ending I live (or read) for. I received an ARC through the author and NetGalley. I am giving my own thoughts and opinions truthfully.

The opening of this book made me laugh! It was another great Lori Foster book. I love getting more books in a setting I love. I have enjoyed the books in this Series. I truly hope to get more in this world. The pacing was good, you know you are involved when you want to grab a character and talk some sense into them, lol. It hits all the emotions, laughter, happiness, jumps/action, and of course a happy ending! :) This is my honest review of a provided ARC.
