I don't believe the family who did missionary work in Hawaii spoke Hawaiian fluently. There was too much political strife in Hawaii at the time for missionaries to commandeer 'Olelo Hawaii. Considering the Hawaiian language was officially shut down in the late 1800s and there wasn't a resurgence for nearly a century, I call Need-to-Fact-Check on the Hawaiian speaking thread in this series. It would've been more authentic if Hawaiian words were actually spoken in the text.
