I have read many books by this author under her old pen name. Thus, I knew she can write but this newest book is next level! I have read a good handful of fairy tale retelling books recently including some Peter Pan ones. Yet, this one is by far my favorite retelling. It is so unique and refreshing. Peter/Hook is the ultimate good/bad guy. When he was Peter, the moments between him and Wendy were sweet but when he was Hook...ooh was he so BAD! Give me both sides of Peter/Hook. While, this book

A dusky Peter Pan retelling! I'm a sucker for any Peter Pan retelling, and Losing Neverland by Brittany Montgomery is a true delight to read and one of my favorites. Brittany is an expert at weaving what you know about Peter Pan and bringing new twists and depth to the characters and the world that will leave you entranced. This is the second edition with new chapters, an extended ending, and a lighter tone than the first one and so so amazing. I want to point out that this is a darker version

I loved this retelling of Peter Pan and Wendy. Such a unique story that keeps you hooked. I loved that it shows you them now and 17 years ago so you get to know their story. "Want to know my favourite part? Everything, thats my favourite part" Perfect quote for the perfect book. I just finished reading the second edition of this book. It was so much better then the first with alot more details. Peter and Wendys pasts shocked me as i wasn't expecting that. Also learning who Peters mum is 🤯
