I still spend way too much time on screens, but this is a great book. Cal Newport is a very compelling and engaging writer, which is a really good thing because I'm guessing I'm not the only person who needs his work whose attention span has been shredded by excessive digital media. His arguments are clear and ideas thought provoking. After reading Digital Minimalism, I liked it so much, I bought his other two books

This book is a bit different then most other minimalist books. The author doesn’t just tell you how to get rid of “stuff” but walks you through the effort needed to declutter your heart and mind; the more subtle obstacles we face in the minimalist process. Well worth the read!
