Love & Deception

Not very well written. Couldn't make it through the book. Unrealistic two dimensional characters that are incredibly unlikable. The flow is jumbled and rushed and the excessive ghetto speak is annoying and forced. Monaye is a horrible character. She has no personality beyond being a vapid, materialistic, user, with the disposition of a sociopath. Couldn't do it, so bad.

I WAS LOOKING FOWARD TO A 5 STAR BOOK, THIS STORY LINE IS LIKE (WHAT??? WHO) I FEEL LIKE IN THE 1ST BOOK IT SHOULDNT HAVE separate INDEPENDENT STORIES IN ONE ITS TO confusing BECAUSE WE (THE READERS )ARE JUST BEGINNING TO GET TO KNOW THE CHARACTER... I LOVE THESE TWO WRITERS I JUST FINISHED THE HOT BOYS COLLECTION, BUT I'M STILL THINKING BOUT STARTING PART 2.....

I was kind of thrown off by so many stories being told at first but each one had me hooked and waiting for more! This book was better written than work I read from TL Joy in the past. I love more sex and murder in this book! Great read, I've been telling all of my friends about it.
