Acerca do autor

Jean Ure was still at school when she had her first novel published. After finishing school she took on a variety of jobs to support herself while she continued to write: cook, floor-scrubber, translator, temp, trainee nurse, usherette and shop assistant. Then after spending two years in Paris, she enrolled at the Webber-Douglas Academy of Drama where she trained as an actress.
With over 100 books under her belt, Jean Ure is widely recognised as one of the most successful and popular authors in this country. Jean has written the following books for Orchard: Just Sixteen, Love Is For Ever, Boys Are OK!, Girls Are Groovy!, Pink Knickers Aren't Cool!, Girls Stick Together!, Stevie Silver: Stage Struck, Stevie Silver: Star Light.
Jean lives in a 300-year-old house in Croydon with her husband, seven dogs and four cats.
