This story reflects the relationship between two young people who met and fell in love in a very short period of time and did not take the time to know more about each other mainly do to the circumstances and time table of events which you will read about in this story, they were thinking they would get married raise their children and live happily ever after, little did they know the problems they would encounter the involvement from members in the inter family which would lead to the breakdown of their marriage contributing to love wounds that never heal.

About the author

The author is Verdieman Smith, born 1949 in Detroit, Michigan. Served three (3) years in the U. S. Navy as a Communications Technician during with VP Air Squadron Patron 16 during the Viet Nam War, which deployed in Countries like Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Rota Spain, and Portugal. He was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida and was an E-4 third class petty officer. Obtained a bachelor degree in Social Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Served 35 years in the U. S. Postal Service and retired as Customer Service Supervisor. After retirement worked as a licensed real estate specialist and is also a licensed Life and Health insurance agent. Has been married 41 years since 1973 to wife Pama and have 3 children, a Son name Kareem, 2 Daughters Vernesha and Latoya and 2 Grand Children Makayla and Amir. Was a 3 letterman at Mackenzie High School in Detroit, Michigan in baseball, basketball and football and also played basketball while attending Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan. This is my first book and now currently working on my second book, also an alumni with Wayne State University and a member of the Lyoness Marketing Network.
