One of the most disappointing, if not the most disappointing bookd i have ever read. I wish i could get back the money i wasted investing in this series. Sad that Ms. Kingsbury thinks so little of the military that she turned Cody into a runaway coward. He, and the readers, deserved so much better. I debated finding a bonfire and tossing the Bailey series into so i could get some enjoyment and satisfaction from the series but unforetunately, it was the wrong season and I did not feel like keeping the books aroung until the summer. I wanted to get rid of them as soon as I could. I love Karen's books but the Bailey series has left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I am unsure if I will continue reading her books. Too bad she was.unable to listen to what her readers wanted, what she had spent numerous books building up. I could not even finish the book I was so disgusted.
