About this ebook

Life’s not a fairytale for women like me, divorced and creeping up on middle age…until a hot younger man finds my lost shoes.

Crashing weddings is so not my thing. I’d much rather stay home and watch HGTV . . . and ignore the fact that my life is messier than those fixer-upper houses. Because my jerk ex left, and the only thing keeping a roof over my sons’ heads is my crappy telemarketing job.

But then I get a challenge from the Bad Luck Club, the group I joined to turn my luck around: Do something that breaks the rules. One ill-advised confession to my best friend later, I’m strapping on a pair of heels and crashing the wedding of two of the owners of Buchanan Brewery.

The last thing I expect is to meet someone, let alone the sexy younger bartender who calls me out and finds my lost shoes, something straight out of Cinderella. And the very last thing I expect is to fall for him.

It feels like I’m in a dream come true, a fairy tale, but the crap part about dreams is that they have to end.

Or do they?

I love coming back to Asheville for a visit. This is one of my favorite series. You can read each of these books as a stand alone, but they are so much better together. I was sad when I thought the four Buchanan siblings had found love, that it was going to end. Luckily for me, there are still people who find their way to Asheville at the right time. Dee and Dylan are two amazing individuals who had learned to deal with life's struggles with the help of the amazing people in Asheville. Bear and Dottie seem to be the best support system a person could ask for. I wish I had them in my life. When you are challenged to break the rules, you never know what might happen. This book was a hoot. Whether it's the crazy goats or stolen jerseys. I love how seamless these books are. I know the authors take turns writing chapters, but it's so well written you can't even tell it's more than one person writing the book. I look forward to reading more books about Asheville in the future. If you haven't checked out this series, check them out. You won't be disappointed. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved, loved, LOVED this short novella! Even at 11 chapters and an epilogue, it’s full of fun, laughs, and emotions. I completely related to Dee in how she felt about herself and her life. Just trying to make ends meet and provide for her boys as a single parent. Most of all trying to find herself again after being a wife and mom for so long. Dylan is a book boyfriend heartthrob! He is a gentleman above all. But also a little lost now that his life plan fell through. Dee and Dylan provide that second chance for each other and their story is sweet and heartfelt.

Luck of the Draw is Dee and Dylan’s beautiful love story. A bad luck club challenge, a wedding and a bartender draw the reader into a modern day fairytale. The authors use humor to assist Dee and Dylan explore and rise above the pain in their pasts. Dottie’s unique healing balm wisdom and involvement helps to bring direction when they falter. As in the previous four books, the characters are well developed. A.R.Casella and Denise Grover Swank have written another fantastic book in the Asheville Brewing Series. For me each book gets better and better I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
