Can Coronto ist die Hauptstadt von Atlantis. In der farbenfrohen Metropole leben Aliens und Menschen friedlich Seite an Seite. Atlantis und der Rest der Erde unterscheiden sich allerdings stark von der Welt, die Perry Rhodan einst gekannt hat. Sie gehören zu einem Sternenreich, in dem die Menschen nur eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen. Gleichzeitig haben viele Entwicklungen in der Galaxis eine positivere Wendung genommen. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Sichu, den Arkoniden Atlan und Rowena sowie der Atlanterin Caysey muss sich Rhodan entscheiden, ob und wie eine Rückkehr in ihre alte Wirklichkeit möglich ist.
