About the author
Lucy Maud Montgomery wurde am 30. November 1874 in Clifton geboren. Schon zu Lebzeiten war sie eine gefeierte Schriftstellerin und Dichterin. 1908 erschien der erste Band ihrer Anne auf Green Gables-Reihe, der sofort ein Bestseller wurde.
