I really Enjoyed Relaxing and Reading all of the Anne of Green Gables Books while going through my Teenage Years. I Loved them and have Read each of them 100's of Times (It may be 20+ Years since my 1st Time, but I still Enjoy Reading them now as an Adult). I found that I could Relate to how Miserable and Hard the Life of an Orphan like Anne Shirley can be, only because I went through Foster Care, then I was Listed for Adoption (with my Younger Brother as well). We were Lucky to be given to Loving and Caring Parents, who had gone for the Option of Adoption due to a Medical Health Condition which Prevented her from being able to Conceive (so a Healthy Full Term Pregnancy and Birth wasn't possible!!!

There's something off about these books. In the first chapter alone I'm finding that words have been substituted, there are other subtle changes which I can't quite explain. It's as though it's been edited for a modern audience. Also, the series is missing Anne of Windy Poplars. For 99 cents, I'll live with it

I havent bought this bundle because I am not seeing Anne of Windy Poplars.. I believe it should be included..I have the old edition paper back copy years ago when I was in High School the two first book Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. I havent tried these electronic copy yet, if you include Anne of Windy Poplars I might think again about getting this. And I hope its the real thing like the way L.M Montgomery presents in the old ways. Her way is part of classic so please dont dissapoint...
