Love Me Nots

I absolutely loved Love Me Nots by Lydia Michaels; it is an incredible love at first sight love story. It is the third book in her Jasper Falls series. Lydia Michaels continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller. I could not put Love Me Nots down and I loved every moment on every page. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong females, loving big Irish families, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. Love Me Nots is a love story filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Love Me Nots is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, Lydia Michaels truly did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Love Me Nots is the story of Gage King, owner of King’s Construction Outlet and Perrin Harris, co-owner of O’Malley’s Pub. Gage heads to Jasper Falls in search of property to build a new King’s Construction Outlet franchise. The land that he happens to be interested in purchasing just happens to be the same parcel of land behind O’Malley’s Pub that Perrin is interested in purchasing for expansion of the pub. When Gage walks in the pub, Perrin realizes that he is the person who put the bid on the land she wanted. Perrin and Gage begin to spend time together things change between them. I love their deep-dish pizza date; it was remarkable the things that Gage did for Perrin. Conversation between them flows so easily, I love that both Perrin and Gage share secrets with one another that they have not shared with anyone before, especially the secrets that Gage shares about his past. I love the unexpected plot twist that changes things between them and then reunites them. I loved that Love Me Nots is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Perrin and Gage are facing that need to be resolved, they each need to learn to trust again. Neither one believes that they want a relationship, but their feelings prove otherwise. I love how the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love all the chances that Perrin was willing to make in her own life to have a life with Gage, and the changes Gage made to have a life with Perrin. I love the epilogue and how it went above and beyond the happily ever after. My favorite part was how the title of the book is incorporated into Perrin and Gage’s love story, with a simple statement by Perrin at the end of the book. Love Me Nots is filled with poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Love Me Nots, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the characters especially their teasing that made me laugh. I loved all the characters in Love Me Nots, and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series, as well as books in Lydia Michaels’s McCullough Mountain series, so I can catch up with the other characters in the book. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Love Me Nots, who doesn’t love a love at first sight love story. Highly recommend this incredible love at first sight love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

4.5 Stars for Love Me Nots ( Jasper Falls #3) Lydia Michaels is a fairly new author to me and this is the first book I have read in the Jasper Falls Series but it won’t be the last, I loved everything about my visit to Jasper Falls and I need to read the previous books as soon as time permits. This is Perrin and Gage’s story and even though it’s a quick read it still packs a mighty punch. Perrin is over men, she is struggling to find one that is loyal and trustworthy so Gage is on an uphill battle from the moment they meet. But this is a man who follows his heart and when he decides to give it to someone he is all in but will the baggage he has ruin this relationship before it even starts… This book ticked all my boxes, I was captivated, I fell in love with the characters and Jasper Falls, I’m also prof that this book can certainly be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone although I’m sure like me you will be left wanting more from the residents of Jasper Falls. Looking forward to playing catch-up with the previous books as well as excited for what’s to come in this series.

4.5 Star review Love Me Nots (Jasper Falls # 3) by Lydia Michaels AUDIO REVIEW: Not as emotional as the first couple of books but was a good addition to the series. When Gage comes to Jasper Falls to look at property for his business, he happens on the same piece of land that Perrin wants to expand their bar which causes sparks to fly. . Perrin has sworn off men so she dismisses Gage’s invitation to dinner, particularly when she learns he wants the same land she does. However Gage is persuasive and they quickly find themselves attracted to one another. However Gage is still reeling from a disastrous marriage and when things come to light, miss communication abounds. Ava Erickson did a great job with her narration of this story. My only complaint would be that I wished that this book had been longer as I really liked these characters and wanted more.
