Flickers of Flame: A Young Adult Urban Fantasy Academy Series by Madeline Freeman is an awesome story that I have read. This is book number two out of four in this awesome series that I have been hooked on since the first book. I can not wait to read the rest of this awesome series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow! Everything amps up in a major way. I can’t believe what the Blade Keepers have to go through for the excursion AND after. I am also curious about the twist with Eden and the Blades...that brings up sone intriguing possibilities! I loved it! Madeline Freeman has a way of sucking the reader into the story in an amazing way.

About the author

Madeline Freeman lives in the metro-Detroit area with her husband, her daughter and son, her cats, and her dog. She loves anything to do with outer space, plate tectonics, and dinosaurs, and secretly hopes her kids will become astronomers or paleontologists. She always wants pizza. Her hobbies include filling notebooks with ideas for future books, pretending to be a unicorn for her daughter to ride, trying to figure out if her husband is joking or being serious, and making her son giggle.
