Lacking action The first 3 books had a lot of action and quite a few subplots. This one just had one storyline that was unnecessarily dragged and repetitive. The only part that felt intense was the last 10 pages. I still liked though. Just lacking that oomph

Kept buying the series cause I was intrigued but - with spelling mistakes continuously happening and now it's gotten into different characters heads - which should be good but it's almost cause the main character has gotten so flat - maybe that's where the author is now going with it but I'm gonna put these books down for a bit start a different series

This is the 4th book in the Clearwater Witches series - you must read the preceding 3 novels to follow the story as this one picks up 4 months after the events of book 3. This book is written differently to the other 3 in that for books 1-3 they are written from the main character's "Krissa" perspective whereas this book is written from 3 different view points. This book will keep you up turning pages, waiting to see what happens next and leave you wanting more!! Can't wait for the next instalment.

Madeline Freeman lives in the metro-Detroit area with her husband, her daughter, and her cats. In the time she should spend doing housework, she rewatches Fringe. She also loves anything to do with astronomy, outer space, plate tectonics, and dinosaurs, and secretly hopes her kids will become astronomers or paleontologists.
