অভিনন্দন। বইটির প্রতিটি ছত্রে ছত্রে লুকিয়ে আছে বাস্তবতার নির্মম প্রতিচ্ছবি। বইটির ভাষাশৈলী এবং প্রকাশ অসাধারণ। বইটির জন্য অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা রইল এবং বইটির লেখক গোপাল পাত্র মহাশয় কে জানাই অশেষ ধন্যবাদ।

" মধুচক্র " এক সরকারি এন'জি'ওর হয়ে যৌনস্বাস্থ্য সম্পর্কিত তথ্য সংগ্রহ করতে গিয়ে হঠাৎই নিখোঁজ হয়ে যায় … তারপর বিভিন্ন দালালের হাত ঘুরে মুম্বাই শহরের এক বহু প্রচলিত পতিতালয়ে বিক্রি হয়ে যাওয়া একটি মেয়ের গল্প ! না আছে জাত - ধর্ম আর না বয়সের নিম্ন বা উর্ধ্বসীমা প্রায় সব বয়সের মেয়েরা গ্রাম - গঞ্জ- শহর -শহরতলী থেকে দিনে দুপুরেই উধাও হয়ে যাচ্ছে ... নারী হরণ - নারী পাচারকারী চক্র অতি সক্রিয় হয়ে উঠেছে ইদানীংকালে- শহরের বিভিন্ন আনাচে-কানাচে গড়ে উঠেছে এই মধুচক্র … আমাদের দেশ ভারত বর্ষ তো বটেই সারা বিশ্বজুড়েই নারী হরণ নারী পাচার - একটা বৃহৎ ইন্ডাস্ট্রিতে পরিণত হয়েছে ! এই চক্রে সমাজের প্রায় সব স্তরের মানুষই যুক্ত নেতা - আমলা - গায়ক-গায়িকা- অভিনেতা কেউ বাদ নেয় …! আর এই সমস্ত ঘটনা ঘটে চলেছে প্রশাসনের নাকের ডগায়. অনেক অন্ধকারের মাঝে একটুখানি আলোর দিশা একজন সাহসী নির্ভীক পুলিশ অফিসার মিস দেবারতী সেন ... নারীরাই তো সর্বোচ্চ ক্ষমতার অধিকারী- বিভিন্ন ধর্মগ্রন্থ সে কথাই বলে ! এই গল্পে সেটাই প্রমাণ হয়েছে… একজন সাহসিনী নারীই খুঁজে পেতে সক্ষম আলোর পথ - নারী মুক্তির পথ …
