About this ebook

*REVISED EDITION WITH NEW FOREWORD BY MAE MARTIN, 2024*

Why do we find sexuality so, well ... scary?

Comedian and co-creator of the hit show Feel Good, Mae Martin, investigates in this hilarious and intelligent guide to 21st century sexuality. By narrating their own, often humiliating, adventures in sex, dating and identity, Mae demystifies everything from weird crushes and coming out, to the pros and cons of labels and the joys of sexual fluidity.

Mae's mission is to ensure that in a world that's full of things to worry about, who we choose to kiss should not be one of them. And when it comes to sexuality, Mae asks:

CAN EVERYONE PLEASE CALM DOWN?

I read this on another platform but this is my honest opinion. This is such a true, inspiring and just really fun book that I loved reading. I'm currently through a lot at the moment and this helps to heal from my own abuse, abuse and self-hate. And it's nice that Mae has such positivity, great points and the focus on strength at the end almost made me cry. If you aren't straight and/ or Questioning your gender then definitely pick up the book. You'll learn a lot and you'll learn what's important to YOU and not everyone else.
