I love these books of yours they grab you and make your stay and not want to leave and miss one single thing in this book . The only thing you can do is keep on reading and try to figure out who is doing this and why! But now I have to read another just to find out lol that's OK keep bringing on the suspense I am loving it!!!

This is book 1 in a new series by Dale Mayer and tells the story of Magnus and Sydney. There have been accidents, deaths and disappearances at the Arctic training center and Magnus and others have been sent to determine the reasons for these incidences. Sydney, the only doctor on the premises, is having her own problems with thefts of powerful medications and assaults. Together they will work to solve the mystery. Book 1 lays the foundation for the series. As such, many characters are introduced and details of everyday life at the training center are explained. The story flows well and the reader gets a sense of the fear permeating throughout the center as the problems multiply. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Note: not all things are resolved in book 1. There is an underlying issue that carries into the next book. 4 stars

A military mission in a remote frozen landscape goes terribly wrong. People are going missing and Magnus is sent in to figure out what’s going on. Magnus Moureaux entered the large snow-covered building, shaking the snow off his hood and his shoulders. As always this author writes a suspenseful edge of you seat mystery.
