Olugbemisola Rhuday-Perkovich is the author of several picture books, including Someday Is Now: Clara Luper and the 1958 Oklahoma City Sit-Ins, as well as middle grade novels such as Operation Sisterhood. Lydia Mba is an Afro-Spanish illustrator with roots in Equatorial Guinea and Spain. Drawing from her heritage, she creates work that is a vibrant tapestry of colors and stories celebrating diversity.
