About the author

Manoj Kumar Jhariya, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Farm Forestry at Sarguja Vishwavidyalaya, University Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India, and is the author or co-author of many research papers in peer-reviewed journals, three books, seven book chapters, and several extension articles. Dr. Jhariya is an editorial board member of several journals and is a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association, Applied and Natural Science Foundation, Society for Advancement of Human and Nature, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Association of India.

Dhiraj Kumar Yadav, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and the Head (In-charge), Department of Farm Forestry, Sarguja Vishwavidyalaya, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has been awarded the Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Award from the Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology. He also worked as project coordinator and in other positions at various forestry institutes. He has published many research papers, articles, and book chapters with national and internationally reputed publishers and has one book in his credit.

Arnab Banerjee, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Sarguja Vishwavidyalaya, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has been awarded a Young Scientist Award for best oral presentation at an international conference held at the University of Burdwan, India. He was a project fellow under a University Grants Commission-sponsored major research project. He has published many research papers in national and international journals as well as five books and two book chapters. He is a life member of the Academy of Environmental Biology.
