The book is wonderfully exciting. It will take you on a great adventure. I just wish it were available for the family library. Five stars if that changes. There are so many other books available that you can include in your family library.

I find it hard to believe that this series has been released on Google play some 30+ years after its original release. Strictly for children whome like their fantasy boringly naieve, predictable in the extreme and clearly delineated between Good and Evil.

Only a few pages in, and I have already noticed that the complete book is not in this format. Is it abridged or were there alterations for some other reason? Part of the prologue is missing. I wonder what else is omitted.

About the author
Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman published their first novel in the Dragonlance Chronicles, Dragons of Autumn Twilight, in 1984. Over twenty years later, they are going strong as partners—with over thirty novels as collaborators—and have published over a hundred books, including novels, collections of short stories, role-playing games, and other game products alone or with other co-authors. Hickman is also the inspiration for the "Tracy Hickman Presents" line of Dragonlance novels for Wizards of the Coast. Weis is the President of Sovereign Press, which publishes Dragonlance game material as well as many other game products.
