Gareth is one of my favorite characters. I do like the world building from Weis and Hickman as a fellow Dragonlance enjoyer. Overall a decent and interesting start to a trilogy.

An interesting story but full of two dimensional characters and far too much meandering side-fluff.

Excellent read, enjoyed this book from start to finish, another one from this author that draws you in and keeps you enthralled.
