After the death of her tyrannical husband, noblewoman Mercy has no desire to marry again. Businessman Jack helps her understand that she's not to blame for her husband's treatment. They begin a torrid affair, but she can't see a future together. Can Jack convince her to trust again? This is a sensual and deeply emotional story. Jack helps Mercy experience fun and freedom after years of a cold and loveless marriage. It's a pleasure to see their friendship gradually lead to an affair between two mature adults who know what they want. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. About the author
