About the author
I studied patternmaking subjects at TAFE as part of a Certificate IV in Fashion Technology, but I have never worked in the garment or fashion industry.
I have devised my own systems for drafting the Pants Block, Bodice Block and Sleeve Block to get a better initial fit for Non-Standard Figures.
My Pant Block instructions include the thigh measurement and show how to make adjustments for the Crotch Length before you make your first toile.
My Bodice Block instructions are based on the Upper Bust rather than the Bust, and include the Bust Cup amounts.
