Marianna Papastephanou teaches Philosophy of Education in the Department of Education at the University of Cyprus. She is also Professor II in the Department of Education at the University of Oslo, Norway. She studied and taught at the University of Cardiff, Wales, and her research interests include political philosophy, the modern-versus-postmodern divide, utopia, and the Frankfurt School. Her recent publications include Thinking Differently About Cosmopolitanism: Theory, Eccentricity and a Globalized World (2015) and, as editor, Cosmopolitanism: Educational, Philosophical and Historical Perspectives (2016).
