Silk White is the "07" Donald Goines. After I read the last comment I was a little skeptical about purchasing this read but I am glad I decided to take a chance on a hot young new author. For a first book I found this read very interesting and it kept my full attention through out the entire story. "Married to da Streets" the story in a whole I could feel the hunger and fire of this new author. It reminded me of when I first read Kwan's "Gangsta". I knew to expect much more from him and I have not been disappointed since. I get the same feeling from Mr. White and I will be the first in line for his next one "The Come Up". FIVE STARS Mr. White!

We have a new king of urban street lit. on the map and even though this is his first novel I can tell he is gonna be on top of this game. This was an excellent read. Rico was a get money hustler right from the start. This book starts out with a bang and keeps you on edge through out the book. His bestfriends J-Money and Trina have his back and with their help they quickly take over the game. Trina looks like the sweet innocent cutie with a fat booty but if you sleep on her you're as good as got! The sex scenes are str8 fire whew I'm still trying to catch my breath.(lol) If you are a fan of Teri Woods or K'won then I suggest you get this book because it's even better than any of those books.

I really enjoy this author, I love gangster love stories. I hated that Rico killed his best friend all because of his insecurities and then all the while he was working right beside his real true love Trina. I hated he got killed off and left a son behind he would never get to know.
