About the author
A lifetime spent in rural Pennsylvania and her own Pennsylvania Dutch roots led Marta Perry to the books she writes now about the Amish. The Pleasant Valley Amish series from Berkley Books are longer, more complex emotional stories with Amish main characters, while her Love Inspired suspense stories are shorter, more adventure-filled books set in Pennsylvania Dutch country. She also writes a Love Inspired series, The Bodine Family, set on the South Carolina coast where she and her husband have a second home. Marta lives with her husband in a century-old farmhouse in the Pennsylvania countryside, but spends winters at their vacation home in South Carolina. When she's not writing, she's active in the life of her church and enjoys traveling and spending time with her three children and six beautiful grandchildren.
Jo Ann Brown has published over 100 titles under a variety of pen names. A former military officer, she enjoys taking pictures and traveling. She has taught creative writing for more than 20 years and is always excited when one of her students sells a project. She has been married for more than 40 years and has three children and two rambunctious cats. She lives in Amish Country in southeastern Pennsylvania. She enjoys hearing from her readers. Rebecca Kertz moved to Delaware as a newlywed. First introduced to the Amish world when her husband took a job with an Amish construction crew, she enjoyed watching the children at play and swapping recipes with the foreman's wife. She feels blessed to have family nearby. She enjoys visiting Lancaster County, the setting for her Amish stories. She has always loved Harlequin romances and feels blessed to be included among Harlequin's authors.
