About this ebook

A USA Today bestseller

The "I love Murderbot!" —Ann Leckie

Artificial Condition is the follow-up to Martha Wells's Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning, New York Times bestselling All Systems Red

It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot”. But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.

Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.

What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks...

I like the depth of the created world. The central character would hate this, but can't avoid having empathy towards it. That means we have a skillful writer, and I appreciate the work. But, I can't justify that price for just 160 pages. Read it in two short haul flights. I would love to continue the series, but it's too much. S J A Turney's Marius's Mules was way better value, fiction with some solid research, $7 a book of 500 odd pages each.

It's a cute story, but for the price I was expecting a similar sized book to the expanse books maybe 500-600 pages.. not 160. Im desperate for sci fi and admittedly it's been entertaining, but I won't be buying the others untill they're more reasonably priced.

I love the writing style and the story and the murderbot character, just wish it was a bit longer or that the book was less expensive...it's a bit dear for around 150 pages.
