Was ist eine Landschaft heute? Das Buch findet hierauf eine Antwort, indem es von zeitgenössischem Theater erzählt. Vorgestellt wird die Arbeit der freien Theatergruppe »Schauplatz International«, deren Stücke tradierte Wahrheiten des Theaters in Frage stellen und zugleich versuchen, zeitgenössische Landschaften abzubilden.
