This book was faster paced than the first book. Once Connery and Zara arrive in Crimshade, Bodhi gets his magic back without hurting Zara. Now the race is on, they are going to the high mage to get help then to the island to save Felix and Fritz. So much goes on and this was a real page turner. A very entertaining read that I would recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
