The Fox and The Rebound is the second book in the series and it centers around Piper Fox. She is trying to get her life on track after an abusive ex. She's an artist and she makes a deal with Oliver. Piper and Oliver both have trauma in their past that create a bumpy road for the couple. I loved the relationship between Piper and Oliver. They both grew and evolved and reading about them was both touching and entertaining. The book wouldn't be nearly as fun if not for the awesome side characters. The Fox siblings made their appearance, of course, and Oliver's employees played an important part. This was a fabulous book. Well written and easy to read. It took me no time at all to finish because I was really enjoying it. There is no cheating, no obvious OM/OW drama, and a beautiful HEA. I am definitely recommending this book. It's a great romantic and fun read. Four very bright stars!

Oh, the lies we tell ourselves... This is heavy on angst but it is balanced in such a wonderful way that I did not drown in it - There is laughter, little moments of self-discovery, friendship, and romance Piper has just come out of a controlling relationship and she is fighting so hard to keep from falling back into old habits Oliver is her lifeline They fit together so easily - His harsh to her softness - Her bright to his dark -
