About this ebook

"The realization hits: We're not going to win. It's why I couldn't defeat Draewulf in Bron--because this power was never mine anyway."

After a fierce battle with Draewulf, Nym barely escaped with her life. Now, fleeing the scorched landscape of Tulla, her storm-summoning abilities are returning; only . . . the dark power is still inside her.

Broken and bloodied, Nym needs time to recover, but when the full scope of the shapeshifter's horrific plot is revealed, the strong-willed Elemental must race across the Hidden Lands and warn the other kingdoms before Draewulf's final attack.

From the crystalline palaces of Cashlin to the legendary Valley of Origin, Nym scrambles to gather an army. But even if she can, will she be able to uncover the secret to defeating Draewulf that has eluded her people for generations? With a legion of monsters approaching, and the Hidden Lands standing on the brink of destruction, the stage is set for a battle that will decide the fate of the world.

This time, will the Siren's Song have the power to save it?

One of the worst books I have ever read, so much set up for around two sentences of payoff. It literally took me a week to put together how garbage the end of this book was. The plot convineinces alone made this book bad, and that is before the bad writing, and subpar love plot. The first two books were nothing special, but this one took the stupidity to whole new levels. It is nothing if not impressive on how bad the author is at writing such a bad ending for some decent books designed for early teens. Almost none of the plot points setup in the previous two books were expounded upon except in short two sentence conclusions, and even those made no sense at all. It feels like the author wrote herself into a corner with "procephies" and then had no idea how to write those in well. So , she just half-assed some contrived garbage to fill in her incompetentency in the art of writing. There was no vision in this series, and it seriously shows in this dumpsterfire of a book.

The over arching series was a wonderful story. The books were repetitive a few times and possibly too descriptive, slowing the story line down. The story itself for the final book was good and I particularly liked the perspective change at the end. Well worth the read.

I really liked the whole series. The last book was unexpectedly powerful in a way that I should have seen coming, but somehow didn't as I was too wrapped up in the story. The story is really quite good.
