Born in Algiers (Algeria) in1980, Massinissa Selmani lives and works in Tours (France). His drawings and videos are inspired by todayโs news and its endless stream of images. He responds to its moments of pomposity with a deliberate economy of means and a gestural discretion that find expression in montages of images and drawings, and brief animated pieces that blend humour, irony and sometimes rebelliousness.
