About this ebook

After a cruel and calculated reign, Kai Lekius, the Sanguinary King, brought stability and peace to his once fragmented land. Thus began his deathlike slumber as he awaited the rise of magic, leaving the rest in the capable hands of his brother. Three hundred years later, he wakes as a True Blood, an immortal vampire of immense power. However, even after all that time, magic hasn’t progressed at all! A nobility system, which he has no recollection of establishing, tyrannizes the weak and weary of the new world. Though it displeases him greatly, Kai must once again postpone his studies and save his people once and for all!

If you have read fantasy before, this doesn't bring up anything new. It's about a magician turned vampire after sleeping for 300 years called Kai Lekius. This story never lets you forget that name. He whole goal was to see magic advancement, but it actually regressed. So, now he is on the hunt to remove the current country's nobility. One scene has him drinking the blood from a ten year old. Kai Lekius also attempts to win over a knight named Rosa in this volume. The thing I enjoyed the most was that the whole volume was full of words that you normally don't run across. I found myself having to look up the definition. This story wasn't to graphic besides drinking blood, causing an adult sensation. The afterword from the author said he was inspired by Record of Lodoss War which I have heard of and will now have to read it.

Very gross, but if you skip ahead of those nasty parts it is a decent read. I know technically he is in the body of his prime (15 years old), but even though they are both technically minors, the nasty sexualization of a 10 year old is disturbing. Her age either should have been 15 as well, or changed the wording of his hunger to just mean blood and not a lust and sexual arousal that also charms the person he feeds on. Other than that, the typical OP MC is an anti hero who was not brought from another world but another time period. half way through Vol 1 and I have to say I like the revenge aspect and the absoluteness of his being. He is just honest and tells them how it is and what is going to happen. He is like that without the douchebag-y-ness of a disliked anti hero, and is also not too serious and up his own prostate. I think only taking one ⭐ away for the nasty pedophilic feeling of conduct shows how good the story is for me so far.

Amazing. That's the only word that does it justice. I would compare this to the brutality and amazing story telling of brandon varnell. Where brandon has pages of lewd content (which isn't bad), this author uses subtleties, I could only compare to that of a backless dress. Stimulating in a refined way. The book may be less than 200 pages, but that's because he got rid of all the useless filler pages. On the flip side, I wish it had more. It's like eating an amazing meal, but in the end, you're met with the insatiable hunger for more.
